WESTSIDE CONNECT is a start-up company and brand in the new and emerging cannabis industry in the state of New York. Matthew Michel, a lifetime resident of Syracuse NY and a 20 year advocate for cannabis and cannbis medicine, is on a mission to put Syracuse on the map. Several years of preperation have gone into perfecting horticulture and extraction methods, creating infused edibles and tinctures, as well as designing and fabricating my own custom grow equipment. I have made a commitment to understand all aspects of this industry by physically doing rather than talking or dreaming about. With a completion from Syracuse University for Cannabis Agriculture and Horticulture and a decade of personal medicinal cultivation experience, Matthew's ultimate dream is to own and operate a seed to sale mixed lighting cultivation operation and develope a brand and line of new novel genetics and strains.

CONCENTRATES

SOLVENTLESS AND SOLVENT-FREE CONCENTRATES

  • Multiple extraction methods used, providing multiple forms of concentrates to better tend to the needs of our consumers.

  • Rosin Press - mechanical seperation of trichomes with heat and pressure alone. No solvents used in the extraction process and is considered "Solventless" for consumers who are health conscious and prefer clean concentrates.

  • Closed Loop Ethanol Extraction - Solvent based extraction using high proof ethanol at extremely low temperatures. The concentrates created in this fasion are considered "Solvent-Free" because high proof ethanol can be evaporated extremely effectively at low temperatures leaving a concentrate completly free of solvents. The low temperatures needed to evaporate decreases the risks assosicated with the purging of volitile chemicals such as ethanol and butane. The device even reclaims the ethanol after evaporation, to be used again for later extractions.

TINCTURES

MEDICINAL TINCTURES IN VARIOUS CARRIERS

  • Tinctures are created in multiple different carrier oils, such as vegatable glycerin, ethanol, MCT oil, and even honey to provide recreation and releif no matter the preferance of the consumer.

  • Multiple different recipes have been developed depending on the effects desired and tolerance of the consumer.

  • A "Raw-Dawg" cannabinoid tincture has been created to provide releif to consumers who have a problem with the psychoactive compound THC. Cannabis in its raw form does not contain any THC, but a precursor called THCA which does not have any psychoactive effects but still possesses many medical benifits. This raw cannabinoid tincture can enable consumers who dont tolerate THC very well to reap the benefits of this plant without feeling any of the psychoactive effects.

  • A "Full Spectrum" tincture has also been developed which contain both raw cannabinoids such as THCA and CBDA, but also their decarboxylated counterparts THC and CBD. These tincture provide a strong psychoactive effect and have many benefits. Recommended for experienced consumers.
